The event returns to Croke Park on Saturday, showcasing more than 35 leading employers, educators and professional development experts, collectively offering thousands of job opportunities at home and abroad, a full conference day of talks and seminars and free career advice in the event's Career Clinic.
Companies and organisations taking part include MongoDB, MRP, PhoneWatch, TCP Solutions and the Peter McVerry Trust as well as the Government of Canada, who are bringing several leading Canadian companies, plus employers from the UK and Australia.
There are also a number of public service jobs on offer too: the National Ambulance Service and An Garda Síochána will both be recruiting at the event. Canadian opportunities include jobs in the healthcare, food service and transportation sectors. In addition, the Government of the Isle of Man will be taking part, showcasing jobs and opportunities on the island. Australian company CMV Truck & Bus will also be recruiting at the event.
“This is the first time An Garda Síochána has exhibited, and they have 800 positions to fill. We are also delighted that the National Ambulance Service is taking part. These are necessary public services, and they also offer fulfilling careers,” says Bronagh Cotter of event organiser, Careers Unlimited. “We are also really thrilled to be able to offer jobseekers so many international opportunities. With both the Canadian Government and the Government of the Isle of Man taking part, Jobs Expo Dublin will have a wealth of overseas jobs,” she adds.
