SaaS firm ScreenCloud will be hiring for positions in product development, engineering, marketing and much more at their new Northern Ireland hub.
The SaaS digital-signage company ScreenCloud has announced it is expanding into Belfast with 54 new jobs for the region.
Led out of London, ScreenCloud provides a software platform and apps to enable clients to display content on digital screens. They work with organisations across numerous industries such as businesses, schools and restaurants.
Mark McDermott, CEO and Co-founder of ScreenCloud comments on the company’s news which marks its first venture into Northern Ireland. He says he is delighted to “join the growing number of tech companies” that have been drawn to Belfast. Earlier this week, US tech firm Qarik announced that it is establishing a research and delivery hub in the city, taking on 50 new staff".
“There is a real vibrancy to the sector here,” McDermott said. “Since our company formed in 2015, we have been able to successfully develop and commercialise our product for global markets.
“Innovation has been central to our success so far and the new Belfast hub will primarily focus on the development of our apps and ensure our continued growth. We have been really impressed by the talent we have found here and are certain that Northern Ireland is the perfect place to drive our business forward.”
The SaaS firm will be hiring for positions across customer support, marketing and sales, engineering, product development and much more. Almost half of the jobs are already in place and the remainder will be rolled out by 2022 the company reports.
ScreenCloud has said that all of its employees are currently working remotely. Any new joiners onboarded during the COVID-19 pandemic will be inducted remotely and will also work from home.
