Sallynoggin College of Further Education (SCFE) is committed to providing a dynamic range of educational courses in response to industry and community as well as learner needs. They provide further education and training courses for school-leavers and mature students. They offer the most up-to-date, industry-related qualifications, as well as excellent teaching and learning facilities. In addition, SCFE is a supportive college which fosters learning and development. They also have a strong belief in the ability of all learners to achieve their potential. SCFE is a recognised centre of excellence and all their courses carry recognised accreditation.Therefore, on completion of their course, learners can enter into employment, or use their QQI results to apply for progression to third-level colleges in Ireland or abroad.
There are no tuition fees, however, there are costs attached to all courses. These include an acceptance fee, payable after a place has been offered and accepted, in addition to a PLC levy, and student services charge. Furthermore, there are examination fees and charges for course materials, payable at registration or by arrangement with the College.
SCFE also welcomes applications from international learners. Non-EA applicants (from outside the EU, Iceland, Norway and Switzerland) must comply with Irish immigration requirements and are responsible for the economic cost of the course, as determined by the Department of Education & Skills, in addition to SCFE course charges.
