Jobs Expo, Ireland’s largest employment and educational event, has won the Irish Enterprise Award for Best Irish Jobs & Recruitment Fair 2019. This announcement comes ahead of the next Jobs Expo which takes place at the Galway Racecourse on 16th February, 10am - 4pm.
Past winners of this notable award include multinational pharmacy sales, marketing, and distribution specialists, the Pharmed Group; charity, training provider and on-the-ground support organisation, Autism Ireland; recognised leaders in Irish Street food, EatYard; fitness and health experts, Educogym; and esteemed educational institution, IT Sligo.
The Irish Enterprise Awards were established by industry publishers to reward excellence in business as well as acknowledge progressive contributions to the Irish economy. Circulated to 100,000 C-suite executives and leading decision makers in European countries (and counties that have free trade with the EU), EU Business News analyses and reports on economic trends. 80% of their readers are European entrepreneurial leaders seeking to stay at the forefront of developments throughout the major markets. With access to the international resources of publisher AI Global Media, EU Business News is the go-to resource for businesses across top European industries.
Since 2012, more than 100,000 jobseekers have attended Jobs Expos across the country, meeting hundreds of employers, as well as availing of free professional career advice and development seminars presented by industry insiders. These established recruitment fairs run twice yearly in Galway, Cork, and Dublin, while the Education Expo, Construction Jobs Expo, and Biz Expo are focused industry events which grow in scope year-on-year.
Jobs Expo is an Irish-owned, Dublin-based business, managed by Careers Unlimited and BCS Recruitment. Kevin Branigan, Careers Unlimited CEO and head of Dublin’s Radio Nova, commented on the win: “We get such good feedback from the employers and training providers we work with. Our team strives to support and promote our clients for each Expo. It's certainly gratifying to have the hard work that’s put into these events recognised by the Irish Enterprise Awards."
Bronagh Cotter, founder of BCS Recruitment added: “Winning this Irish Enterprise Award has been a great boost. For over 10 years, our staff at BCS Recruitment have delivered top-tier HR services and we are delighted with the acknowledgment. As a recruiter, our role in managing the Jobs Expos has allowed us to interact and connect with clients, as well as preempt trends and adapt accordingly. At present, BCS recruitment is in a unique position, and our plan over the next three years is to expand and develop into strategic markets - so watch this space!”
