American publishing company Agora are bringing 100 new jobs to Ireland's South East coast.
The firm are setting up a multilingual contact technology services centre based in Waterford.
Agora launched in 1998 and currently employs thirty-three people in Ireland and will be basing their new centralised hub in Portlaw, Waterford.
The new roles will include providing multilingual customer assistance to over twelve countries via email, telephone, and live click & chat, as well as web and mobile development and application support.
Agora are investing €4.4 million in the new venture, with construction of their new offices already underway, the publishing firm are looking to complete the move by 2016.
President of publishing and services, Daryl Berver said:
“We are very pleased to make this announcement today, we have had a long relationship with Waterford and this investment allows us to meet the demands of our growing business and take advantage of the high quality of talent available.”
Agora will be filling the new positions over the next three years.
